scripts that use libnotify/notify-send

clock-notify

I broke my Gnome clock-applet when I decided to upgrade glib, gtk+, evolution and epiphany to 2.14 but to stay with 2.12 for the rest, so I had to have an easy way to show the date/time, week, and preferably a calendar.

0.2: Static 'current day' fixed, localized weekdays
0.1: Initial release

Python 2.x?

temperature-notify

I used sensors-applet to display temperature, but it took too much place in the gnome-panel, so I wrote this little script to display the temperature.

This is made for the HP NC4000 laptop, so it probably needs customizing if you download it.

Also, the icon used is from the sensors-applet package.

weather-notify

I think I entered a notify-script-frenzy after the two first scripts, so here's a third for displaying weather-information grabbed from the Yahoo Weather RSS-feed.
