.. and it did!
I had prepared my 2.6.8 kernel with Bluetooth support.
More specifically - Bluetooth HID support.
But none the less I was delighted to see the Bluetooth subsystem tell the USB-subsystem that three new USB-devices had been detected and get them online and working without fuss.
YAY!
I quickly brought up xev to check how much of the functionality that was there.
Well, I had a 6-button mouse before, so of course I had to notify X.org about the 4 new buttons.
(Actually, I'm uncertain whether they really are separate buttons, most of the time it seems that three of them are linked to other ones. If anybody have an explanation or "solution" to this, I'd be glad to hear about it.)
And the Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro didn't have the same keysyms for multimedia keys, so I had to change keyboard layout.
Well, no rush!
This setup has a Bluetooth hub, right?
Let's get it acquinted with my phone!
